This past Saturday a few of us from “This is NOT a Diet,” went down to San Diego for the day. We had a great time and took lots of photos. We did tons of walking on Coronado Island and then headed back to the gaslamp district for lunch. On the Island, we just walked around and enjoyed the sites. While there I was tempted to rent a “Segway” to ride around the Island but resisted because that would’ve defeated the whole point of getting exercise. I’ll definitely rent one another time because they look like so much fun!!
By the end of the day, we were all very exhausted from all of the walking. Even still, we had a great time and it never felt like exercise. So the tip we’re leaving today is that exercise comes in many shapes and sizes. If you’re getting board of going to the gym or track, then make a day to check out the local sites around where you live; your body will thank you and you’ll have fun doing it!
